Link Error: #2110

If you're seeing the following error message when trying to access a shared link: “2110 The link key is incorrect. The key provided for this link was incorrect. Please double check and ensure the key was entered correctly. The key is case sensitive.” This means that the link you're trying to access is either incorrect, has been modified, or is no longer valid. This error commonly occurs in the following scenarios:

1. The link was copied or entered incorrectly

  • The link key (the unique part of the URL) is case-sensitive.

  • Make sure there are no extra spaces, characters, or formatting issues when copying and pasting the link.

Solution:
Try copying and pasting the link again directly from the original message. If it still doesn’t work, ask the sender to resend the link.

2. The link was deleted or regenerated

If the sender deleted or changed the shared link after it was originally sent, the original link will no longer work.

Solution:

  1. Delete the existing link. Ask the sender to remove the outdated or broken link.

  2. Create a new shared link. Have the sender generate a new link and share it with you.

3. Password protection is enabled on the link

If the link requires a password, and the password is incorrect, you will see the 2110 error.

Solution:
Ensure you're entering the correct password exactly as it was provided (passwords are case-sensitive). If you're unsure, ask the sender to confirm or remove the password protection.

Still having trouble?

If you've double-checked the link and password but are still receiving the error, contact the person who sent you the link. They may need to resend or recreate it.

If you're the link sender and need assistance managing your links, see: How to manage shared link settings or contact our support team for further assistance.
