How do I allow Sync to work with Kaspersky?

Some firewall and antivirus programs sometimes block Sync from working properly. Here's how to add Sync as an exception in Kaspersky:

  1. From the Kaspersky console, click on Settings (gear icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen)

  3. Go to the Additional tab
  4. Click on Threats and Exclusions

  6. Under Threats and Exclusions settings screen, click on Manage exclusions

  8. Click on Add

  10. Click Browse to add a new exclusion

  12. Navigate to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Sync\sync-taskbar.exe   Note: Replace yourusername with your actual Windows username.

  14. Click on Select

  16. Click Add

  18. Repeat steps #6 to #9, this time, navigating to   C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Sync\sync-worker.exe

  19. On the Exclusions list, confirm you have both sync-taskbar.exe and sync-worker.exe on the list

  21. Restart Kaspersky and Sync
