Some firewall and antivirus programs such as BitDefender may block Sync from working properly. Here's how to add Sync as an exception:
- From the Protection Features window, click on the gear icon under Antivirus:
- Go to the Exclusions tab and click on the Add button then click Browse:
- On the Select a file or folder to exclude window, navigate to: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Sync and select sync-taskbar.exe then click OK Note: Replace yourusername with your actual Windows username
- Select Both and click Add
- Repeat #3 and #4, this time, selecting sync-worker.exe
- Confirm that both .exe files appears in the list as below:
