When you sign up for a Sync trial, you can explore what Sync has to offer before committing to a paid subscription. Here’s what you need to know about how trial plans work.
What’s included in my trial plan?
If you’re on a plan with a fixed storage limit, your trial storage is capped at the same as the paid plan limit (e.g. a 1 TB plan is capped at 1 TB, a 6 TB plan at 6 TB). You’ll have access to all plan features, except unlimited storage if you’re on a trial for an Unlimited plan.
If you’re on an Unlimited plan trial, storage is capped at 10 TB.
To go beyond 10 TB:
- Sign in to the web panel.
From the left navigation bar, click Settings.
Select the Account & billing tab.
Under the trial end date, click Pay now.
You’ll be taken to the checkout page to purchase the full plan and unlock unlimited storage.
What happens when my trial ends?
At the end of your trial, your account will automatically convert to the same plan type you were trialing.
Your payment method on file will be charged at the plan’s regular subscription rate.
Note: Be sure to make note of your trial’s end date so you can decide whether to continue, change plans, or cancel before billing begins.
Can I switch to a different plan?
If you’d like to move to a smaller plan (for example, Pro Solo or Pro Teams), you’ll need to contact our support team before your trial ends.
